The Trango Towers are a group of recognizable rocky towers situated in Pakistan's Karakoram mountain range. Rock climbers and mountaineers love to visit the towers as they are one of the most widely recognized and gorgeous rock formations in the entire globe. Trango Tower the highest of the Trango Tower and sometimes known as Nameless Tower is 6,239 meters high and was first scaled by a group of climbers under the direction of Jim Donini in 1977. Since then, technical rock climbing has grown very popular at the towers with routes varying in difficulty from moderate to extremely difficult. The Great Trango Tower is the world's highest vertical peak at 1,340 meters and the Trango Tower is part of a complex of towers. Trango Pulpit, East Trango Tower, and West Trango Tower are the other three towers. The town of Askole provides access to the Trango Towers which are located in the heart of the Karakoram mountain range. The towers involve technical rock climbing, requiring knowledge and experience. The Trango Towers climbing season runs from June to September, which corresponds with the area's summer climbing season. The Trango Towers are also renowned locations for rock climbers and mountaineers who wish to challenge themselves and climb one of the world's most challenging rock formations. Climbers can experience the distinct culture and warmth of the locals while taking in the amazing vistas of the nearby peaks and valleys from the towers.
